Preventative Appointments are Key
By visiting every six months and having x-rays taken every 12 to 18 months, we are able to detect possible problems when they are small and easier to fix. Some people are concerned about the radiation associated with dental x-rays. At our office, we have low-dose digital x-rays that provide high diagnostics with minimal radiation. An interesting fact, a person receives more radiation on a cross country flight than with our dental x-rays. We are also able to remove stain and tarter on the teeth easier at regular six-month cleanings, which makes for a more comfortable appointment for the patient!
