Since 1997, Women in Networking (WIN) Cleveland has been dedicated to one mission: helping local women connect, learn, and thrive. Founded by Barbara Baxter, who “wanted a group where women could be heard, understood, and appreciated—a forum where we could grow as individuals and as a group,” WIN continues that legacy today by providing opportunities for professional growth, personal connections, and community support.
Through monthly networking events, the WIN Cleve- land Business Major Scholarship, and partnerships with local women-focused charities, WIN empowers women across Northeast Ohio.
This year, under the leadership of President Michelle Ryb, WIN is proud to partner with its 2025 In-Kind Charity recipient, Connecting for Kids, a nonprofit that provides resources, support, and community to families who have concerns about their child. Their programs support families navigating mental health concerns, developmental delays and disabilities, and major life changes.
WIN also invests in the next generation of women leaders through the WIN Cleveland Business Major Scholarship awarded to female students at Ursuline College who are juniors, seniors, or in graduate-level business programs. In 2024, thanks to the generosity of WIN members and sponsors, $6,000 in scholarships were awarded.
The highlight of the year is WIN’s Annual Fundraising Luncheon, which brings the community together in celebration and support. This year’s luncheon will be held on Friday, December 12, at 11:00 a.m. at Bellavie by Marigold Catering, 700 Beta Drive. Guests will enjoy an inspiring key- note speaker, raffle baskets, and plenty of time to connect with fellow professionals. Proceeds from the luncheon help fund WIN’s scholarships and community partnerships.
