Melony J. Butler has been named Chief Executive Officer of Dress for Success Cleveland. Melony joined Dress for Success Cleveland (DFSC) in 2000 and later became the Executive Director in 2011. Melony’s leadership is unmatched and has been instrumental in developing community and corporate partnerships throughout Northeast Ohio. Through these partnerships, DFSC has expanded to offer a full continuum of services to meet the critical needs of a diverse demographic of women.
Today, as many women are redesigning their career paths, reframing their priorities, and are in need of continued development, DFSC provides the tools and resources for transition, growth and resilience to embrace that journey. In 2020, DFSC quickly pivoted to delivering most of their services virtually and currently they are finding their way to a new hybrid structure. Whether you are unemployed, underemployment, misemployed or need to deploy from your current employment DFSC is the organization for all women!
Effective July 2021, their offices are now open for women in the community to provide the following services:
• Access their technology via their Career Center
• 1:1 consultation services to interview skills or career planning
• Identify your personal style, meet your workplace and lifestyle needs via their Styling Services
DFSC meets the needs of, empowers and stands upon the support of the community. As a result, you are likely to find DFSC in a neighbor- hood near you soon! In September and October, DFSC will be in Willowick and Maple Heights with their outreach community initiative.
In October 2021, DFSC host their signature fundraiser Women, Wardrobe & Wine – Wine Down & Celebrate the Journey virtually and in-person. October 7th their virtual panel discussion with News5 personalities and on October 14th at Top Golf.
