MDG Flooring is celebrating 22 years of serving its customers and community with high-quality flooring and exceptional customer service. Michael D. Green opened MDG Flooring in Medina, OH, in 2001 and in 2004 and moved the store and showroom to its current location on Pearl Road. In 2002, Michael’s daughter, Christie Jackson, joined the family business assisting with consumer relations. With their dedication through the years, the company grew and assembled an expert team trained in flooring design, sales, and installation.
In 2016, the family tradition continued. MDG Flooring’s ownership was passed from Michael Green to his nephew, Steve Walbolt (President), and his son, Don Green (Vice President), keeping the business family-owned and operated. Christies role expanded to include customer support, and in 2022, Christie was promoted to Business Development Manager.
Christie is a member of the Northern Medina County Chamber Alliance and she facilitates their Connections 4 networking group. She currently serves on Medina County Chamber Charities Board as the Secretary. Christie is a graduate of the LEAD Institute program through Leadership Medina County and an active member of the International Referral Network, serving as the Vice President. She is a mom of 4 active children involved in marching band, color guard, dance, and golf.
As the place “Where Friends Send Friends®,” the team works daily to earn the reputation of Medina County’s most recommended flooring store. MDG Flooring America has won Medina County’s “Best of the Best” for flooring sales for ten consecutive years and was nominated for the Entrepreneurship Award in 2021.
