We believe there is power in numbers so you will find coming up Saturday, October 5th through Sunday, October 13th, Northeast Ohio is exploding with new homes for you to tour, compare and perhaps even purchase. Northcoast BIA, the Cleveland HBA, HBA Portage/Summit Counties and the Medina County HBA are all holding Parade events during these dates. Medina County HBA and the HBA Portage/Summit joined forces to bring you the best possible Parade homes this fall. Models are open weekends ONLY from Noon to 5pm. This event is always FREE of charge and detailed information on each Parade entry and online videos for our virtual models and basement remodels will be available to view on the Medina and Portage/Summit websites Thursday, October 3. For details on the Portage/Summit Parade event, visit www.hbaparadeofhomes.com.
So … what is a Parade of Homes? It’s like a Super Open House with a boatload of options for people to see. You have the opportunity to walk through and visit a number of new homes to compare home styles, trends, communities, pricing, builders, and more – an excellent prerequisite to potentially building a new home. Medina County is proud to share nine brand new outstanding model homes scattered throughout Medina County, two of which are clusters. There are two exciting new communities – a high-end country estate setting and a 55+ Resort-Style Adult Community, an amazing Scandinavian-style home presented virtually, and a fabulous remodeled basement, also presented virtually.
Building a new home and even remodeling your existing home can be overwhelming with the huge list of selections needed to make your space one-of-a-kind, but relax … most builders either have staff to assist, or they partner with businesses that can help you pick the perfect blend of options. You can also step out of the box, exercise your inner creative self and pick your own flooring, lights, paint colors, surfaces, cabinets, doors, and more.
Medina County price points start from $349K up to $2.5 million plus with ‘build from’ prices starting in the mid $300’s. The following builders and neighborhoods are featured: Artisan Building & Design – virtual home and a cluster in Falcon Pointe, Medina; Clement Construction – virtual basement remodel; Drees Homes – model in Hickory Hollow, Valley City; Engelke Construction Solutions LLC – cluster ranch in Oak Ridge Preserve, Brunswick; EzView Windows & Doors – home in Granger Meadows, Medina; Gasser Builders, Inc. – cluster villa in The Villas of Seville; Landmark Homes – model in The Preserve at Meadow View, Brunswick; Legacy Homes of Medina – upscale development Rock Ridge Estates in Hinckley; Parkview Homes – model in The Reserve at Pine Valley, Hinckley; Prestige Builder Group – luxury estate home in Forest Glen, Wadsworth; and Pulte Homes – single-family home in The Reserve at Sharon and a brand new Del Webb Hickory Greens Adult Resort-Style Community in Columbia Station.
“On behalf of the Medina County Home Builders Association (HBA), I’d like to welcome you to the 2024 Medina County Fall Parade. We are pleased to present new home designs and communities in Medina County for your consideration. Medina County is the 10th fastest growing county in Ohio and we hope you enjoy what our builders have to offer,” Alison Hall, Legacy Homes of Medina and President of the Medina County HBA.
It’s nearly impossible to hold an event like this without the valuable support of associate members. Carter Lumber, Major Event Sponsor, has supported this event for many years and is a trusted supplier of building products for these homes. The following companies also support the Fall Parade: All Construction Services, Davey Resource Group, James Hardie Building Products, MDG Flooring, Medina Lighting, Paramount Plumbing Inc., Sundance LTD, Third Federal Savings & Loan, Transfer Title Agency and Wolff Bros. Supply Co. The Medina County HBA thanks every one of these dedicated members who stepped up to provide a remarkably high level of commitment to the local building industry and support of this event for the consumer as well.
Although the majority of builders have provided pricing for homes both ‘as built’ and ‘build from,’ due to the uncertain availability of some building components such as lumber, windows, siding, roofing and more, actual prices may be different than shown. Please consult the builder directly for current pricing on a specific model.
Everything you need to know can be found online right here (www.medinacountyparade.com) by October 3 including downloadable maps and highlights of the homes, as well as floor plans, Googlemap links, directions, videos, and more.
